The inside of the console is back gelled with gelcoat to give it a complete waterproof finish to prolong the life of the console by preventing any water ingress and osmosis. There is 12mm Marine Plywood glassed into the steering fitting are for reinforement.
This product does have some very miner cosmetic tooling marks but still excellent value for money.
